- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in C programming (not C++), with a foundation in:
- Pointers
- Memory management
- Type conversions and endianess
- Basic understanding of embedded interfaces, such as:
- SPI
- I2C
- UART
- Familiarity with higher-level embedded programming concepts, including:
- Schedulers
- Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
- Interrupts
- Experience using embedded IDEs and integrating various SDKs (using Arduino will not be sufficient) is a plus.
- Ability to read IC datasheets and develop high-quality drivers based on the specifications is a plus.
- Strong documentation skills, including writing clear comments in code and creating user guides for interacting with the software.
Qualifications
- Design, develop, and test embedded software in C for a variety of devices and systems.
- Interface with hardware components through SPI, I2C, and UART protocols.
- Contribute to real-time software solutions using RTOS and schedulers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Read and interpret IC datasheets, and write efficient drivers based on the specifications with minimal guidance.
- Ensure proper documentation of code, user guides, and other relevant technical materials.
- Continuously learn and improve your software development skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
